What is Long Beach Gives?

Long Beach Gives is an annual, citywide giving event where individuals and organizations come together across the city of Long Beach (and beyond!) to invest in our community. Since it began in 2019, this campaign has raised over $4.6 million for local nonprofit organizations. This incredible project was spearheaded by the Josephine S. Gumbiner Foundation and today is managed by The Nonprofit Partnership.

Every year, the excitement for Long Beach Gives builds when nonprofits share their fundraising stories. City officials, residents, local businesses, and their employees show their generosity for the community.

This year’s Long Beach Gives is on September 22nd! The Campaign kicks off with early giving on September 15 and culminates with a 24-hour giving event on September 22!

Over 200 nonprofits were selected to participate in Long Beach Gives 2022.
